Each dentist will remove up to 8 impacted wisdom teeth and assist removing up to 8 impacted wisdom teeth. You will have hands on involvement with up to 16 impactions. WSS Faculty are available to do the entire procedure, or portions, while you observe; or you can do all of the procedure with supervision. There’s no better way to learn the removal of impacted wisdom teeth.
You will learn:
- Case selection and when to refer
- How to handle complications
- Proper use of instruments
- How to use a surgical handpiece
- Flap design

This course is a good investment for your patients and office:

The Impaction Course will be held in San Jose, CA. Please try to arrive by 8:00 am to sign in, receive your manual, and enjoy a light breakfast with us. Class will begin at 8:30.
The Impaction Course is a live patient course. The course begins with lecture and observation of Dr. Wayland removing up to 16 impacted third molars. Everyone will have ample opportunity to see the surgical procedures and have their questions answered. In addition, the procedures can be viewed on a monitor. Course participants will assist and remove up to 16 impacted wisdom teeth on Saturday and Sunday. Here is the course agenda:
